Bring the city home with you

we’re on socials:

The pulse of the city

Metro systems move millions of people through cities every day. To work, home, class, dinner with friends - the subway is woven into the very fabric of life in the city.

Even at home or the office, we can still sense the buzz and rhythm around us. The people walking by are our community, celebrating birthdays in the park, commuting to work, marching in the streets.

When you’re here, you’re part of it all. Metroboard is our way of trying to capture that lightning in a bottle, a quieter reflection of the movement and life continuing outside our windows.

As you get ready for bed and the train service slows for the night, lights wink off - folks heading home from studying or a last call at the bar. When you wake up, the board is bright again, teeming with life long before you make your first cup of coffee.

It’s our small way of staying in touch with the world outside of our four walls. If you want to bring that same feeling into your home, we think you’ll like it.

How It Works

Arriving Now

Most transit systems provide real-time location information for their trains and buses (that’s how you see where they are on your phone’s map). Metroboard uses the same data to show the locations of trains as they move throughout the city.

Customizable

Choose multi-color or white lights

Adjust the update rate

Configure brightness

Choose how in-transit trains are shown

Premium Materials

Mid-century modern design and materials make Metroboard a timeless piece. With a solid walnut frame and brushed aluminum faces, Metroboard is built to last and look good doing it.

Easy Setup

A desktop stand, wall mount, and extra-long 10ft cord are included to fit any space. No apps needed either - set up in under a minute with any browser-equipped device.

Automatic Updates

Metroboard will update to the latest software, hands-free, over the internet. Bug fixes and feature updates require a simple restart to take effect.

Thoughtful Design

The USB-C connector is tucked away behind metroboard for a finished look no matter where you put it. The on/off switch is milled from aluminum - no plastic here.
